Lydia Micheaux Marshall is a corporate director who serves on the boards of Seagate Technology, the world’s largest manufacturer of hard disc drives, and Nationwide Insurance, one of the nation’s largest insurance companies. Previously, she was the founder, Chair of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Versura, a company that pioneered the electronic auctioning of student loan portfolios. Ms. Marshall also served as Executive Vice President for Marketing at Sallie Mae – where she helped transform competition in the student loan industry through financial, technology and servicing product innovation – and a Vice President of Citicorp (now Citigroup). She is a past Chair of the Boards of CARE USA and CARE International, as well as a past Chair of the Washington Performing Arts Society.
