Annual Progress Report

Evaluating the progress of our grantees is a vital part of our work.  We reflect on their experiences as we form judgments about which tactics and strategies are most likely to make a difference – and which don't.  Close and honest assessment also helps grantees gain useful insights into how they are advancing toward their goals, what they have learned, where they need to make course corrections and what’s over the horizon.

For these reasons, we require our grantees to submit reports.

Reports should address the following questions:

  1. What planned and unplanned activities did you complete or partially complete to make progress toward your goals? What activities did you decide not to undertake?
  2. What outcomes and/or accomplishments have you achieved? Which activities most successfully and clearly brought them about?
  3. What are the most difficult problems you encountered in undertaking your work?
  4. How have you assessed your progress?
